David is the CEO of The Pacific Group, a leading wealth management and financial advisory firm based in Los Angeles that he started 19 years ago. He is also the founder and CEO of Sootchy Inc., a technology company focused on eliminating long-term poverty in America by providing all 8.7 million underserved and underrepresented children of color the opportunity to attain a college education with no student debt.
Prior to The Pacific Group, David worked as a Wall Street Investment Banker with Wasserstein Perella & Co. and Salomon Smith Barney. There, he executed over $90 billion in complex merger & acquisition and corporate finance transactions for some of the world’s largest companies. His client base included Aetna US Healthcare, Magellan Healthcare, Allegiance Corp., HealthSouth, MedPartners, Snapple, Interpool Inc., Indigo Aviation, American TransAir, and BlueCross / BlueShields of California, Kansas City & Missouri.
Prior to investment banking, David worked as a Certified Public Accountant.
David attended Harvard Business School where he graduated with an MBA.
Errol L. Pierre is a healthcare executive, public speaker, professor, and author.
He serves as the SVP of State Programs at Healthfirst and was the former COO of Empire BlueCross BlueShield.
Errol graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He later obtained a master’s degree in Health Policy and Financial Management from New York University and completed his Doctorate in Business Administration from Baruch College in 2022.
He is an adjunct professor at New York University, Columbia University, and Baruch College teaching Health Economics and Health Transformation.
Errol is also the author of a new book published by Wiley entitled The Way Up: Climbing the Corporate Mountain as a Professional of Color, where he delivers an actionable guide for underrepresented employees seeking to grow in today’s virtual workplace.
